Exhibition: 12:00 - 20:00

Reception: 18:00 - 20:00

Medical Aid for Palestinians (MAP) launched an exciting photography project with Palestinians with disabilities in Gaza in September. Taking on the role as photographers, the project supported people with disabilities to tell their own stories, raising awareness locally and internationally of disability rights and the barriers to these rights in Gaza.

The photographers’ work will be exhibited in London at the P21 Gallery and in Gaza on 3 December, to mark International Day for People with Disabilities. The events give attendees an opportunity to hear directly from the participants themselves about the challenges they face, and the messages they want to share with the world.

You are invited to join the launch of this exhibition at an evening reception (3 December, 6-8pm), where Aimee Shalan, MAP’s CEO, will introduce the project and discuss the important issues the photographs raise.

We hope to see you there!
